James and I have wanted a family full of children ever since our relationship began. Interestingly, James and I both had had exposure to adoption growing up and had each thought that we'd like to adopt someday. When we got married, we discussed the possibility and were very excited to "someday" bring a child into our home through adoption. When we later started trying to get pregnant, we expected everything to work with perfect timing. It's been almost eight years now and we've had no luck getting pregnant. We have no good answers yet as to why, but this has given us the opportunity to adopt even sooner than we anticipated. "Someday" is here, and we are ready!
